This Cookie Policy explains how Buzzaar Benelux B.V. ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the platform available at buzzaar.world (the "Platform"). This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
We only use non-essential cookies when you allow them through the cookie banner or cookie settings.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to the website operators.
Similar technologies include web beacons (also known as pixel tags or clear GIFs), local storage, and session storage, which serve comparable purposes. References to "cookies" in this policy include these similar technologies unless otherwise stated.
2. How We Use Cookies
In this release, we use cookies and similar storage only for essential platform functions.
- Authentication -- To keep signed-in users authenticated and secure the session
- Preferences -- To remember your language choice and cookie settings
- Optional analytics -- Not active in this release. If enabled later, they will stay off until you consent.
- Optional marketing -- Not active in this release. If enabled later, they will stay off until you consent.
3. Categories of Cookies We Use
We currently use essential cookies and storage that are required for the Platform to work.
3.1 Essential cookies
These cookies are required for sign-in, security, language selection, and saving your cookie preferences. The Service cannot work properly without them.

3.2 Analytics cookies
No optional analytics cookies are active in this release. If analytics is enabled later, it will stay off until you consent and this policy will be updated in the same release.
3.3 Marketing cookies
No marketing cookies or ad pixels are active in this release. If they are enabled later, they will stay off until you consent and this policy will be updated in the same release.
4. Specific Cookies We Use
Current release status:
- Google Analytics 4 is loaded only after you grant analytics consent. Default consent state is denied, so no measurement data leaves your device until you opt in.
- No Meta Pixel or other advertising pixel is loaded in this release. If one is added later, it will stay off until you consent and this policy will be updated in the same release.
- Browser storage is used for authentication state, language choice, UI preferences, and cookie preferences.
You can update your choice at any time through Cookie Settings in the footer.
5. Third-Party Cookies
| Category | Legal basis | Consent required |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Legitimate interest / Performance of a contract | No. These are required to provide the Service. |
| Analytics | Consent | Yes, if analytics is enabled in a future release. |
| Marketing | Consent | Yes, if marketing measurement is enabled in a future release. |
6. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
6.1 Cookie banner
When you first visit the Platform, you can accept all optional categories, reject non-essential categories, or customize your preferences.
6.2 Change your choice any time
You can reopen Cookie Settings from the footer and update your preferences at any time.
6.3 Browser controls
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Please note that blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in and other core platform features from working correctly.
6.4 Future optional tools
If optional analytics or marketing tools are activated in a future release, they will remain disabled until you consent, and this policy will be updated in the same release.
7. Do Not Track Signals
Essential authentication and hosting data is processed on our hosting infrastructure located in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). No optional analytics or marketing data transfers are active in this release.
8. Local Storage and Session Storage
In addition to cookies, the Platform may use browser local storage and session storage to store data locally on your device. This data is used for:
- Local storage: Persisting user preferences, cached data for performance optimization, and authentication state management. Data stored in local storage persists until explicitly cleared by the user or the application.
- Session storage: Storing temporary data that is needed only during a single browsing session, such as form progress or temporary UI state. Session storage is automatically cleared when you close the browser tab.
You can clear local storage and session storage through your browser's developer tools or settings.
9. Updates to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use, changes in technology, or changes in applicable laws. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy
- Notify you through the cookie consent banner or a prominent notice on the Platform
- Reset your cookie consent preferences where required, so that you have the opportunity to make new choices
We encourage you to review this Cookie Policy periodically.
